Sam worked on a report with the Green Building Council of Australia that showed embodied emissions (from materials and construction) will become an increasingly large percentage of a building’s emissions by 2050.

A Wellington native, Sam graduated from the University of Adelaide with a BE(Hons) in Mechanical Engineering, specialising in renewable energy. He is currently studying a Masters’ in Sustainability at Maastricht University in the Netherlands.

He is a fan of hiking, football, running, cooking, craft beer, pub quizzes and historical documentaries.
