Katharina is on parental leave and we’ll welcome her back later in 2023. Nicky Andrews is the acting Head of Carbon while she’s away.
Katharina has been with thinkstep-anz since its earliest days and balances a wide range of responsibilities, from organising our team’s capacity to managing corporate carbon reporting and product carbon footprint/LCA/EPD projects.
She studied Economics at the University of Hohenheim and holds a Master’s in Management from the University of Stuttgart. The latter is important to both Katharina and thinkstep-anz as it is where our LCA for Experts software (formerly GaBi) was first developed. Stuttgart is also the birthplace of thinkstep (PE International), where it began as a spinoff founded by a professor and some students.
Katharina loves to travel and explore and prefers a culturally immersive experience to fast tourism. She loves the sun and can be found near any source of heat, including the warmest office space.
