Gustavo Moraga

Gustavo is an experienced Life Cycle Assessment and circular economy expert. Before joining thinkstep-anz’s Auckland office he collaborated with the United Nations, OECD, and European Commission.

At the UN’s Economic Commission for Europe he developed a measuring system for the transition to the circular economy for countries in Eastern Europe, the Caucasus and Central Asia. The experience honed Gustavo’s leadership skills, such as planning and organisation, stakeholder management and engagement, relationship building, decision-making, and delivering results.

With a background in architectural engineering, he also brings knowledge of environmental KPIs and their use in the building industry to the role.

He joined thinkstep-anz to become part of the solution for a more sustainable society. He enjoys applying his scientific and advising experience by providing high-quality and technical advice to businesses.

Gustavo is an enthusiastic urban cyclist with a keen interest in alternative modes of urban transport. Hailing from Brazil, he’s enjoying exploring his new home New Zealand by bike.
